Established in 2015 Dún Laoghaire waste is a locally owned and operated rubbish removal service, ideally suited for home and business with 95% of all rubbish recycled.

Any person who proposes to collect waste for the purposes of reward, with a view to profit or otherwise in the course of business is required to hold a Waste Collection Permit. (Section 34, Waste Management Act, 1996).

If you arrange for someone to remove waste for you, this is what you need to do to protect yourself from illegal dumping and prosecution:
- Ask to see their NWCPO number (waste permit) issued by the Environment Agency.
- Take details of who collected the waste and a description of the waste.
- Make a note of the registration number and description of the vehicle used to collect the waste.

I couldn't recommend Dunlaoghaire Waste highly enough. We had a mountain of junk out the back garden from old kitchen units to garden waste. Colm showed up when he said he would and took the lot, no problem. Even swept up after and left the place absolutely spotless.
